WHO WE ARE
veco came about as the need for change increased drastically. Two Maltese people wanting to come up with at least one solution for single-use plastic and so here we are. We know that this won’t magically clean our seas of all plastic but it should reduce single-use plastic bags from being used, discarded and/or thrown in our seas. veco’s motto is quite simple – to save our seas one bag at a time and we truly believe that if everyone works together with the same aim – we can all make it happen.
OUR PRODUCTS
Our veggiebags and bread bags are designed to offer you a convenient and reusable alternative to single-use plastic bags while grocery shopping.
Our products are made from 100% RPET and/or 100% cotton materials and can be fastened with a drawstring.
Our veggiebags can hold up to 2 kilos of produce and are extremely durable. For an added touch of convenience we designed and created a pouch to store and carry your produce bags with you on your shopping trips.
veco bags can also extend the life cycle of your fresh produce by preventing ‘sweating’ which plastic bags usually cause. The mesh material allows your fruit and veg to breathe, helping them last longer. Available in a 3-Pack, 5-pack as well as an individual bag.
Both the bread bag and our veggiebags are machine washable up to 30 degrees. They can also be washed by hand in cold water and left to dry and re-used over and over.
WHAT IS RPET?
RPET stands for recycled polyethylene terephthalate. It is recycled plastic material that is used for water and soda bottles.
